1. Cookies and similar technologies
StubJoy uses cookies and browser or device storage across its services. Cookies are small records a website stores in your browser; local storage can persist until cleared, and session storage normally lasts for a browser tab’s session. Technologies differ between the marketing website, organizer dashboard, event ticket sites and native staff app.
2. Authentication and preferences
Authentication cookies keep web users signed in and support protected requests. The dashboard also stores interface preferences, the selected event and temporary form drafts. The native staff app uses secure device storage for authentication and preferences rather than browser cookies. Removing this information may sign you out or reset saved settings.
3. Event analytics storage
Hosted ticket sites use bz_visitor_v1 in local storage for a visitor identifier and bz_event_session_v1_<eventId> for event-session information. The event session expires logically after 30 minutes; expiry does not necessarily remove the stored record. The visitor identifier currently has no automatic expiry in the application and remains until storage is cleared.
Sites using the StubJoy tracking script store attribution-session information under bz_session_v2_<organizationSlug>, including a session expiry supplied by the service. Analytics can capture referring sites, campaign parameters and ticket or checkout activity. Session identifiers may be carried in checkout links to associate a visit with a purchase.
[CONFIRM THE FULL STORAGE INVENTORY, ATTRIBUTION EXPIRY AND CONSENT CONTROLS FOR EACH DEPLOYED SITE.] A notice by itself does not obtain consent. Where consent is legally required, analytics must be gated by an appropriate consent mechanism before it runs.
4. Third-party services
Stripe payment pages and organizer integrations may use their own cookies or storage under their respective notices. Our marketing website loads Manrope from Google Fonts, which sends network requests to Google and can expose IP addresses and request metadata. A third-party network request is not necessarily a cookie. Review the provider’s notice for its practices.
5. Managing storage
You can inspect, block or clear cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Controls usually apply separately to each domain and browser. Blocking storage may affect sign-in or preferences and does not necessarily prevent server-side transaction records or all analytics requests. Device settings let staff revoke camera permission; manual ticket entry remains available where supported.
[CONFIRM AVAILABLE CONSENT SETTINGS AND HOW DO NOT TRACK AND GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL ARE HANDLED.] Questions may be sent to support@stubjoy.com. See our Privacy Policy for how information from these technologies is used.
