What does the buyer see at checkout?
When you pass fees to buyers, checkout shows the ticket subtotal, a separate processing fee line, and any sales tax Stripe calculates. The order total is rounded up to the nearest whole dollar.
Can I absorb the fees instead?
Yes. Fee forwarding is a per-event setting. With it turned off, buyers only see the ticket price and processing comes out of your payout.
When do I get paid?
Card payments go to your own connected Stripe account and pay out on your Stripe payout schedule. StubJoy never holds your money.
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes. You'll connect an existing Stripe account, or create one, while setting up your organization. It takes a few minutes.
Is there a limit on events or staff?
No. Create as many events as you need and invite your whole crew.
